The Metropole Hotel Brussels ***** is marvelously well located right in the historical center of the European capital, just a few steps away from the Grand-Place, the Bourse and the Theatre de la Monnaie and close to the city's most exciting shopping thoroughfare of Brussels.

Built in 1895 the hotel has celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2005. This only remaining hotel of the 19th century in Brussels is noticeable by the quality of its service and its internal decoration. In fact, the main entrance has been decorated in French renaissance style, the reception hall in Empire style, some rooms in Art Deco style.
In April 2002, the Council of Monuments and Sites of Region of Brussels-Capital has protected the Metropole Hotel's façade as well as the ground floor.

The Metropole Hotel Brussels offers 305 rooms, of which 14 spacious suites. All rooms are equipped with modem wall connection, trouser press, TV with game control and Internet access, Wifi, telephone with answering machine and direct line, minibar, in room safe, private bathroom with hair dryer and face mirror.

Our gourmet restaurant l'Alban Chambon opened in 1985, celebrates in 2005 its 20th anniversary.

Dominique Michou, Maître Cuisinier from Belgium and from France, is our executive chef from more than 15 years and welcomes you in an unique Italian baroque decoration (candelabras, wooden floor, porcelain, stained glass windows,...): classical yet daring French cuisine, 2 red hats and 15/20 in the Gault Millau culinary guide and golden key, air conditionning.

Our restaurant is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
